Dip the butt of your hands in green paint.
If you alternate your hands, it looks like the leprechaun ran across the surface. Use your pointer finger to make toes. The finished look! I usually put them across the white board, on a few desks, in the hall by the cubbies. I have learned over the years not to do too many because clean up is NOT fun!
Have fun!
Cute!! I'll have to leave a few myself for my First Graders:)

Hi Deana! Love the leprechaun footprints! I taught first grade for about 20 years and was moved to 2nd grade this year. I like it, but my heart will always be in first!! I am now a follower of your blog! Come on over and check mine out!

Hi Deanna,
ReplyDeleteI am your newest follower. I found your site thru the TPT forum. My class made traps for the leprechauns as a homework activity. I couldn't quite remember how to make those footprints. Thank you for the reminder. Great ideas! I love your blog design.
